Drowning Victim at State Park in Durham Identified

State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection police have identified the 27-year-old man who drowned at Millers Pond State Park in Durham on Saturday.

Members of Middletown Fire Department's dive team have recovered a the body of Donovan Perry, of Southington.

First responders from Connecticut State Police, Durham, Haddam, Middletown and Portland all responded to the park around 2:00 p.m for reports that a man had gone under the water while swimming in the pond.

Within an hour, Perry's body was recovered by members of Middletown Fire Department's dive team.
