Hermine continues to meander south of New England as it weakens, but the tropical storm warning has been canceled for Connecticut.

Wind gusts were over 40 mph Monday night in eastern Connecticut, but since the storm is weakening, gusts are only expected to be up to 15 mph tonight.

Isolated, light rain showers are possible through Wednesday, especially in eastern Connecticut.

Dangerous rip currents continue at Atlantic-exposed beaches, mainly from Misquamicut on east.

Thursday will be quite warm, with highs nearing 90 and a good amount of sunshine. A shower is possible at night.

Friday will be like summer, with complete sunshine and temperatures topping out at 90 degrees.

The weekend looks nice for outdoor plans, with mostly sunny skies Saturday and partly cloudy conditions Sunday.

A shower is possible Sunday. Temperatures will rise into the middle 80s this weekend.
