Unexplained Disappearance of Westport Realtor

Arthur Dean Reinhart, of Westport, was reported missing in March.

The search for a Westport real estate agent who has been missing for weeks has spanned several states and still there are no clues.

The family of Arthur Dean Reinhart, 50, last saw him in North Carolina on March 22 as he was leaving to return home from visiting his brother in Lexington, North Carolina, the Westport News reports.

The last contact they had with the Prudential real estate agent was on April 2, when he sent an e-mail from Provincetown, Massachusetts, the Daily Fairfield reports.Reinhart's family said his cellphone is full and he has not updated his Facebook page.

Crews searched for him in North Carolina, but turned up empty.

On April 13, police set their sights on New Hampshire after Reinhart's 2002 Jeep Liberty -- with Connecticut license plate, 692XRD -- was found in a parking garage in Portsmouth.

His suitcase and travel bags were still in the Jeep, reports WMUR-TV in Portsmouth

Anita Boushie said it's unlike her brother not to let his family know where he is.  She lives in Hillsborough, New Hampshire, about 40 miles west of where her brother's jeep was found, and said her brother had no plans to visit her home.

"We had no mention of him of coming up to this area," she told the newspaper. "The last contact we had with him he said he was on his way back to Westport."

Seacoast Crime Stoppers is asking for information about Reinhart's whereabouts. If you wish to remain anonymous and have information leave an anonymous tip by logging on to www.seacoastcrimestoppers.org or send an SMS text to CRIMES (274637) and include TIPSCS in your message.
