Update: Tyler Jacob was found safe an unharmed in another state on Wednesday, April 25, according to Groton Police
The Groton Town Police Department is searching for a missing sailor.
Police said 24-year-old Jacob E. Tyler, a U.S. Navy sailor, was last seen Tuesday morning when he left his Groton home. He has not been seen since.
Tyler was riding his blue 2014 Honda CBR motorcycle with Connecticut plate 00KSVK.
He is 5-foot-11, weighs approximately 220 pounds, is blond and has blue eyes. It is unknown what he was wearing when he went missing.
