A vehicle crashed and landed in the water in Westbrook early Saturday morning.
Emergency crews were called to Old Clinton Road and Grove Beach Road around midnight.
According to officials at the scene, the car crashed through a guardrail and landed in the water.
The only occupant of the vehicle was removed, they added. There's no word if the person was injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
