Wallingford police are investigating a stabbing that occurred on South Cherry Street Sunday morning.
Police say they responded around 7:45 a .m. to the second floor hallway of 46 South Cherry Street, the Judd Square Apartments. When they arrived they found two male subjects suffering stab wounds. One victim had multiple superficial wounds and the other suffered a wound to his upper thigh. Both were transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, the males were involved in an incident in an apartment. It appears to be isolated and there is no threat to neighbors or the general public.
