Want To Vote, Grab A Stamp Today

Time is running out to register to vote. The deadline is today.

Voter registration forms must be postmarked by the end of the day Tuesday, Oct. 21. Connecticut residents who fail to meet the mail-in deadline have until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 to register in person at their local town or city hall.
 
More than 2 million voters have registered, one of the highest such figures in state history, according to the secretary of the state.  Since Jan. 1, nearly 220,000 people in the state have registered to voter.
 
The largest group of registered voters in Connecticut is unaffiliated, accounting for 845,311 voters. There are 750,999 registered Democrats and 418, 531 registered Republicans. In the state, 2,021,749 are registered.
  
Most of the new voters are between 18 and 29.
