Part of Capitol Avenue in Hartford remains closed after a water main broke this morning.
Capitol Avenue is closed between Hudson and Main streets and the water main might not be repaired until between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Water main breaks typically take four to six hours to repair, according to the Metropolitan District, but crews had to replace a bit more pipe than usual, so it will take two to four more hours to repair.
Use Buckingham and Park streets to get around the closure or West Street to Elm Street.
