Route 154, or Main Street, is closed in Deep River due to a water main break.
The water main broke at 4:15 a.m., according to Peter Lewis, superintendent of the water treatment department, and the road is closed between Spring Street and Bridge Street.
In all, 10 homes, two businesses and a 70-unit condominium complex are affected.
The Connecticut Water Company has responded and is in the final stages of repairing the main.
