Some Danbury residents were without water service Wednesday morning after water main break on Oak Ridge Avenue in Danbury, according to the mayor.
Mayor Mark Boughton said that the break occurred in front of 7/9 Oak Ridge Avenue. Customers on Oak Ridge Avenue, Ridge Road, Concord Road, Green Avenue, Lexington Avenue and Claremont Avenue were warned they could lose water or experience low water pressure while repairs are made. Customers in surrounding areas may have had discolored water.
It took several hours for the repairs to be completed.
