The PGA Tour has decided to push back Saturday morning tee times at the Travelers Championship due to the threat of rain and storms overnight.
The first players will tee off at 11 a.m. for the third round of the tournament, according to tournament officials. They will tee off in threesomes from both the 1st and 10th tees.
Play would normally kick off at 9 a.m. for the Saturday round.
The gates will open at 9 a.m., tournament officials said.
The threat of showers or a thunderstorm will last through Friday night and into Saturday morning. Some clearing will occur in the afternoon and Sunday's weather looks good for the final round at the Travelers.
