Westfarms is closed today out of an abundance of caution, according to a statement from the shopping center in West Hartford.
"We continue to partner with local law enforcement and have determined to close the center out of an abundance of caution. We will keep the community informed of our reopening plans," the statement goes in to say.
No additional information was immediately available.
