A West Hartford woman who admits to having threesomes with her boss, is now accused of stealing nearly $170,000 from him.
Helen Kapoutsos, 28, was charged with embezzlement Thursday. She used check and credit cards belonging to her boss to pay for a lavish lifestyle, including shopping sprees, and trips to Aspen, Colorado and Nantucket, according to police.
Kapoutsos' boss went to New Canaan police in September to report the missing money, according to the Stamford Advocate. Kapoutsos worked as the man's personal assistant.
After her arrest, Kapoutsos denied stealing from her boss, and told police she was a highly-paid escort and paid for her lifestyle with money she earned that way. She said her boss hired her in April 2010 after meeting her at a New York strip club.
Kapoutsos told police she had sex with her boss and her boss' fiancee, something the boss later admitted to investigators, but said he never paid his assistant for sex, according to the Advocate.
She admitted to writing checks to herself for "services and time", including a check for $16,000 for "extra time", the paper reported.
Kapoutsos is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
