A 76-year-old teacher at the Mandell Jewish Community Center was killed in a crash at the center in West Hartford on Monday.
Avis Stone, of Bloomfield, was turning into the driveway on Simsbury Road in her Toyota Corolla just before 11:30 a.m. when she collided with a Honda Accord.
She was treated at the scene and pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital.
The driver of the Honda was also injured and taken to St. Francis Hospital.
West Hartford police are investigating.
