Write Your Way to Free One Direction Tickets

If you’re are 21 years old or younger and a fan of One Direction, only 250 words stand between you and the chance to win two luxury skybox tickets for the band’s sold-out show on Friday, Nov. 30.

One set will be given away, thanks to Youth Journalism International and Mohegan Sun.

When One Direction was last at Mohegan Sun, tickets sold out in about 20 minutes.

To enter for a chance to win, e-mail why you should be picked to win two luxury skybox tickets to tickets@youthjournalism.org, along with your name, age, address and phone number.

Put “1D contest entry” in the subject line.

You entry must be received by midnight on Sunday, Nov. 18 to qualify and the winner will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at www.youthjournalism.org.

You will need your own transportation to Mohegan Su,. The prize does not include transportation to the concert.

The winning entry will also be published by Youth Journalism International – and the winner will get to write YJI’s official review of the show, too!

Proceeds benefit Connecticut-based Youth Journalism International, which is working to train the next generation of journalists.

Some tickets are available for purchase at the price of $375 each, $300 of which is tax-deductible.

YJI is also asking people who have the means to buy a ticket but no desire to go to a show to buy tickets that could be added to the giveaway. For more on that, see the Youth Journalism International Web site.
