A group of Yale students are holding a march to New Haven police on Thursday to file civilian complaints over a nightclub raid, during which five students were arrested.
On Thursday morning, the Student Response Committee issued a release saying they will be meeting with city representatives at 4 p.m. at the school to discuss the investigative process.
The raid occurred on Oct. 2 during a party at Elevate, a club downtown, where witnesses allege officers punched, kicked and arrested one of the Yale students for no apparent reason.
Police said the student assaulted three officers and had to be subdued with a stun gun.
New Haven police are conducting an internal investigation.
The students said they would gather at Yale and march together to the department.
Students also said police threatened them with arrest for taking video and pictures of the raid, which was part of a new enforcement effort spurred by a downtown shootout.
