The Hartford Yard Goats picked up their first win at Dunkin' Donuts Park on Thursday against the Harrisburg Senators. The Goats took the game by a score of 1-0.
In front of a crowd of 3,270 cheering fans, the Yard Goats closed out their first win following five home losses and a six-game losing streak overall.
Starter Yency Almonte won his first game of the year after striking out 10 batters.
Earlier in the evening, Omar Carrizalez scored the only run of the game thanks to a triple by Josh Fuentes off starter Erik Fedde.
The game lasted two hours and twenty-nine minutes.

It was a historic night for downtown Hartford with the city's new baseball team picking up its long-anticipated first win at home.
The Goats now head out on the road to New Hampshire for a game Friday night.
The team will next be back in Hartford for a three-game series next weekend against Richmond, followed by a three-game series against Portland. Individual game tickets are available now for the season.
