$58M Beverly Hills Pad Hits the Market

The word grand doesn't even begin to describe this mega mansion that just hit the market for $58 million. The Wall Street Journal reports that the luxurious home, aptly dubbed Le Palais, measures 48,000 square feet and is located right across the street from the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Mohamed Hadid, the developer of Ritz-Carlton Hotels in Washington, New York and Houston, as well as commercial projects and luxury homes in Aspen and Beverly Hills, truly left no lavish details out of this impressive, custom-built abode. Le Palais comes with a sweet hand-carved French limestone exterior, which is complemented by a contemporary interior. There are seven bedrooms and eleven baths (there are three additional bathrooms outdoors) spread over three floors.

The amazing (and pricey) mansion comes with a 60-foot-long infinity pool, landscaped gardens, a 15,000 square foot basement with a ballroom that can seat 250, a Turkish-style bath, and don't forget the 50-seat movie theater. The recently-completed property also boasts a green room with gardens and a bird habitat, as well as citrus groves on the one-acre property.

Hadid commented to The Wall Street Journal, "I wanted something grander that would set the pace for the area." Well, anyone will agree that Hadid certainly accomplished what he set out to do. And, good luck to the other developers in Beverly Hills who hope to top this palatial manse.
