Injured Ringling Bros. Acrobats Address Public

Four of the acrobats hurt during a circus performance in Providence, Rhode Island addressed the public at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston Tuesday. "The first thing they said to me was, 'We want to stay together as a family. We want to stay together as a unit. We want to recover together," said said Thomas K. Prindable of Clifford Law Office. Teen in Mass. Charged With Killing Teacher Accused of Assault

Teenage murder suspect Phillip Chism has allegedly assaulted a female Department of Youth Services employee in Massachusetts, according to the Essex County Sheriff's Department, New England Cable News reported. DYS confirmed the assault happened at their Dorchester facility Monday, but won't comment on exactly what happened, if the employee was injured, or how it happened at this point. Coach's Honesty Cost Team the Championship

A high school track and field team has lost their state championship title when their coach owned up to a scoring error that wasn't in the team's favor, NECN reported. When Derek Herber, a North Attleboro, Massachusetts, Rocketeers coach, realized his team received too many points on one event due to a computer error, the team finished third instead of finishing first. Crew Locates Missing Yacht, No Sign of Passengers

A U.S. Navy helicopter located the flooded remains of a 40-foot British yacht that has been missing for a week on Friday, NECN reported. The capsized boat's life raft was still on board and there was no sign of the four passengers, according to the Coast Guard . The Cheeki Rafiki yacht's crew radioed that they were having problems last Friday, en route to England from a regatta in Antigua, and a day later all contact with the yacht was lost. Read »
