Homeless Man Sold Rifles to Young Boy for $8: Police

Two Pennsylvania boys went to the store to buy candy and soda, but instead they returned with two guns sold to them for $8 by a homeless man, police said.

Reginald Sisco, 59, was arrested Thursday and charged with receiving stolen property and a firearms offense.

According to investigators, a 9-year-old boy and his friend were walking in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven in Bristol on Wednesday night when they were approached by Sisco, who is homeless.

“This guy offered me two guns for $8 … he asked me ‘do you like to go hunting?’ And I said ‘yeah,’” Christopher Altstadt, 9, told NBC10.

Police say Sisco sold the boys a .22 caliber rifle and an air gun.

The boys took the guns back to one of their homes and showed them to friends. One of the boy’s cousins alerted adults, who called police.

“It’s disgusting. The kid goes up to the store and comes back with guns? I mean, come on,” said Joan Pacheco, Altstadt's grandmother.

Investigators said one of the rifles was stolen from R&D Automotive on Tuesday. Authorities say Sisco told them he sold the guns because he needed the money.

He was arraigned Thursday and remains behind bars.
