PD: Woman Throws Sign Over Pizza Deal, Hitting Child

Police in Framingham, Massachusetts, say a woman is facing an assault charge after she allegedly threw a metal sign while she was upset over her pizza's cost, striking a child in the face.

Framingham Police say Iesha Davis, 36, was at Framingham Sub Shop & Pizza and picked up a pizza she ordered Wednesday.

An employee told police Davis came back in screaming profanities because she wanted chicken on the pizza and was told it would cost extra.

She then allegedly threw a metal sign, which struck the girl, the employee's daughter, in the face.

The girl suffered a scratch on her face.

Davis left the area, but was later arrested at her home on Cordaville Road.

She was arraigned Thursday and released on $100 bail. She is due back in court on July 15. It was not immediately clear if she had an attorney.
