Blake Shelton is the first to admit that he's thinned out in recent months.
The country singer and "Voice" coach talked to radio host Blair Garner on "America's Morning Show" Wednesday, who noted that he looked "trim." Asked how he's been losing weight since July, Shelton joked, "Well, you know, you should try the divorce diet."
"I've been on that diet," Garner admitted.

"So, it works!" Shelton replied.
"Mine went the other way," Garner admitted. I think it goes one of two different ways: Either you stop eating or you just go to town, and I just went to town." Shelton didn't attribute his slimmer shape to his "actual breakup" with wife Miranda Lambert, but said, "The whole stress of getting through all of that is just...It was just weird. I'm not eating as many fried pickles and stuff. I'm doing great. I am. It's just...I wasn't, like, going to the gym. Just stay as busy as you can to kind of keep your mind off of everything."
Earlier this week, E! News gained some insight into why Shelton looks a tad different on "The Voice." "He's doing the two things he hates to do–diet and exercise," the country music superstar's rep said Tuesday.
Shelton didn't discuss his diet or his divorce any further during his interview on "America's Morning Show." He did, however, talk about how being a coach on NBC's "The Voice" has broadened his musical tastes. "My iTunes is all over the map because of that show," he said. "I've got all the other coaches' music on my phone now and all these other random things I didn't think I would ever be listening to.
And yes, his friendly rivalry with Adam Levine is real. "It wouldn't be if he wasn't so... competitive. Everything is like mini competitions. In the blind auditions, all he really cares about is to be sure I don't get like anybody, if he likes 'em or not. It's about just keeping me from getting somebody that I'm into."
