Final “Voice” Auditions Bring Teams to Capacity

The four teams head into battle next week

After three episodes and dozens of auditions "The Voice" teams are at capacity.

During Monday night's final try-outs, Cee Lo Green learned he doesn't get second chances, Christina Aguilera found a new favorite and 48 newly-minted contestants looked ahead to battle phase. Here's where the teams stand:

Team Adam:
The Maroon 5 front-man was the first to fill his five-man, seven-woman team. He capped off his group with Whitney Meyer—a woman who's ditching her family band to try her luck on the hit NBC show—and Orlando Napier, a blues singer/songwriter from California.

Team Cee Lo:
Cee Lo's first additions of the night were the Shields brothers, a pair of wild-haired rockers hoping to trade their parents' farmhouse for a tour bus. He also gained Cheesa, an eccentric Hawaiian native, and Wade, who capped Cee Lo's eclectic team after a strong rendition of "Rehab." If he had it his way, he would have also added Cameron Novack, whose performance of Alanis Morissette's "You Ought to Know" concluded with Novack freestyling about why it doesn't matter that no one picked him and Cee Lo asking producers if he could bend the rules and add him. "I made a mistake," he confessed.

Team Blake:
Blake filled his final slots with Lex Land, a sultry, soulful singer, and Adley Stump, a sorority girl-turned-country-singer.

Team Christina:
Gun shy Christina waited until the episode's final half to start making picks. Her first was Lee Koch, a folk-inspired singer who surprisingly won her vote with his harmonica play in the song's final bar. The last was Sera Hill who becomes the final member of her male-heavy team (eight men, five women—including one duo). "I was sitting here waiting for someone to excite me," Aguilera said. "And you did." Hill excited her so much, that the diva grabbed a microphone and jumped on stage to close the show jamming with her new favorite lady.

The battle round, which involves intra-team contests and eliminations, begins next Monday at 8 p.m Eastern on NBC.
