Senior Officer Travis Pace tells the Corpus Christi Caller-Times the man said he was in bed with his wife when she awakened and thought he was a stalker.
Pace said the man told her repeatedly who he was, but the woman pursued him with a gun, firing repeatedly, hitting him once in the leg.
