“No Safe Haven”: Obama Vows Long Fight to Take Out ISIS

President Barack Obama told Americans Wednesday night that the United States will use airstrikes to take out ISIS "wherever they exist," in a major address laying out how his administration will combat the terrorist group's rapid spread in Iraq and Syria. "If you threaten America, you will find no save haven," he warned the terror group, which has killed two American journalists in propaganda videos. Obama said the U.S. is sending 475 additional troops to Iraq, to join 1,000 already there. "There are risks involved" to U.S. military personnel, he said, though he added that the efforts to combat ISIS will involve no combat troops on foreign soil.
