The housekeeper who accused Dominique Strauss-Kahn of trying to rape her in his hotel suite has promised to testify in court, The New York Times reported. No date has been set for the testimony, her lawyer said. On Monday, the 62-year-old Frenchman and former IMF chief pleaded "not guilty" at his first appearance in court since he was released on $6 million cash bail. He and his wife were greeted by a jeering crowd picketing outside the court, some shouting "shame on you." A trial is likely months away and if he is convicted of the most serious charges, Strauss-Kahn could face up to 25 years in prison. Strauss-Kahn is currently under house arrest in a deluxe townhouse he is renting for $50,000 a month.
