“Vertigo” Actress Kim Novak Treated for Breast Cancer

Novak's manager says she's expected to "be just fine"

Actress Kim Novak is undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

Novak's manager told The Associated Press the 77-year-old star of Alfred Hitchcock’s "Vertigo" would receive "minimal" treatment, as the cancer was caught early by a routine mammogram and that she is in "fantastic physical shape."

Manager Sue Cameron said Novak works out with a trainer three times a week and rides horses daily.

Cameron says Novak is expected to "be just fine."

"The Man With the Golden Arm" star appeared in a string of films in the late 1950s and 1960s. She lives in Oregon with her husband.
