Woman Punches, Rubs Rear on $30 Million Painting

A 36-year-old woman in Colorado was charged after drunkenly attacking a priceless abstract expressionist painting with her fists, fingernails and behind, cops said Thursday. Carmen Tisch's alleged outburst reportedly caused $10,000 in damage to Clyfford Still's "1957-J no.2" at a newly reopened Still museum in Denver — but the silver lining was that although she urinated just after rubbing against the masterwork, her urine did not get on the canvas. "You have to wonder where her friends were," said a spokeswoman for the district attorney's office. The Still museum houses a number of works that were not on public view until its recent reopening.
