Iran and six world powers failed to reach a breakthrough in attempts to negotiate the country’s nuclear program, a senior U.S. administration official said Friday. "We do not have an understanding on all major issues, we have some understanding of issues that are helpful to move this process forward," the senior official said. Just eight weeks from their Nov. 24 deadline, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani had described the progress in recent days as “extremely slow” at a press conference in New York on Friday.
