Ohio Man Charged in Plot to Bomb U.S. Capitol

Federal authorities have filed charges against an Ohio man who they say wanted to start an ISIS cell in the U.S. and attack the U.S. Capitol building, NBC News reported. Authorities told NBC News that the man, identified as Christopher Cornell, was dealing with an undercover agent the entire time and was never in a position to carry out his plan to attack the Capitol. An official said that investigators became aware of Cornell through his Twitter postings and that an undercover agent got in touch with him. Cornell talked about planting pipe bombs and then shooting employees as they came out of the Capitol building, the official said.
