Gaza Death Toll Rises Along Israel-Palestine Border Protests

Dozens of protestors, including eight-month-old Leila Anwar Ghandoor, were killed by Israeli soldiers, with hundreds more injured, during a mass protest against the new U.S. embassy opening in contested Jerusalem on May 14, 2018. Palestinians have been protesting at Gaza's border with Israel since March to break a blockade imposed after Hamas seized control of the territory in 2007.
