Rap Star Soulja Boy Releases ‘Stephen Curry' Song, Plans Video Shoot

Soulja Boy is the latest rap star to pay respect to the NBA's reigning MVP and the face of the Golden State Warriors.

The rap star tweeted Tuesday his plans to shoot a video on Wednesday for his new song "Stephen Curry," which Sports Illustrated reported was released after the Warriors beat the Pacers.

In the song, Curry is alternately called Stephen, Steph and even Steve: "I'm stuntin' on 'em like I'm Steph Curry, number 30."

He has also been name-checked in recent songs by rappers Drake and Lil B.

Soulja Boy, most recently seen as part of the cast of the scripted reality series "Love and Hip Hop Hollywood," is an avid basketball player who participates in BET's annual celebrity tournament and has a mean trick dribble.
