Esquire Names Rihanna “Sexiest Woman Alive”

Take a bow, Rihanna--Esquire magazine just named you its 2011 "Sexiest Woman Alive!"

The sultry singer follows previous honorees Kate Beckinsale, "30 Rock's" Katrina Bowden, and model Brooklyn Decker. This year, Rihanna beat out fellow chart-topper (and traffic-stopper) Katy Perry.

The Barbabos-born babe appeared on the cover of the November issue of the men's mag wearing little more than a few well-placed leaves.

"At the end of a concert, I don't feel like I've been this sexy thing," Rihanna, 23, said in Esquire's cover story on her. "Really, I don't even think about it."

The pop songstress is no stranger to showing skin--she recently went topless while shooting a new music video for her song "We Found Love," and she's famous for her on-stage lap-dances, racy outfits and steamy hits like "S&M."

But Rihanna is the first to remind us she's more than just a bodacious body. Her latest album, "Loud," has been certified platinum in more than a dozen countries, and “We Found Love,” off her upcoming album "Talk that Talk," is her 20th song to hit the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart since her 2005 debut.

Success might be the best revenge for Rihanna, who spoke candidly about her troubled past with R&B star Chris Brown in the interview.

"Obviously, I had some resentment toward him for a while, for obvious reasons," she told Esquire. But I've put that behind me. It was taking up too much of my time. It was too much anger."

Cheers, Rihanna.
