Seth Grahame-Smith's “Unholy Night” Heading for Big Screen

Seth Grahame-Smith has crafted a one-man cottage industry for himself, taking classic tales, and stirring in some monsters, a formula that has thus far propelled two of his books to Hollywood. Now, months before its release, GSG has sold the films rights to his next book.

Warner Brothers has bought the rights to "Unholy Night," which follows the three wise men as they travel across the desert, on a quest to fete Little Baby Jesus, reported Deadline. Not much is known about the book, but it's apparently an action-adventure.

"Seth has written a fresh and thrilling novel that is true in spirit to the inspirational story of the Three Wise Men," producer David Heyman told Deadline.

Grahame-Smith's "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" has been losing directors left and right and the script seems to be in flux, as well. But another book, "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter," is already in the can and due for a June 22 release. The film, directed by Timur Bekmambetov ("Wanted") stars Benjamin Walker in the title role, with support from Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie, Rufus Sewell and Alan Tudyk.
