"Shots Fired" star Sanaa Lathan reveals to Harry what happened to the audience during one of her performances in "A Raisin in the Sun."
She says rats ran across the audience's feet during the show.
She tells Harry the show was, "in one of those really old theaters and the seasons are changing and my character is looking in a mirror, so my back is to the audience and I can see the audience behind me and all of a sudden I see the audience do like a football wave like they do in the stands but it was really quiet. So I was like what is going on, I’m keeping up the scene. At intermission I find out because of the season changing there are rats running through the theater. They are running through the theater. The thing that blew us all away was they stayed, I would have been out of there….Rats running across your feet."
