Spanish Nurse Free of Ebola, Not Told About Dog

Conclusive tests show Spanish nurse Teresa Romero no longer has Ebola, and she doesn't know health authorities signed off on euthanizing her dog, a family spokeswoman says. Her mixed breed pet named Excalibur was euthanized on Oct. 8, and in addition to his death, Romero is also unaware of the public interest in her case. Her husband and 14 other people who came into contact with her when she felt feverish after treating an Ebola-stricken priest are hospitalized under observation. None has shown symptoms.
