Tidbits: Jon Gosselin's Revolving Door Romances

Though he recently announced, “I’m single — per se,” reality TV dad Jon Gosselin seems as confused about his relationship status as anyone else following his whirlwind romances. Is he still dating alleged finance Hailey Glassman? Has he left her for former tabloid writer Kate Major? Don’t expect a straight answer from him.

As for Glassman, on Saturday, the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” star assured UsMagazine.com, “My heart is always with Hailey.”

Maybe it is, but that’s not to say Major, who recently left her job with Star magazine, should give up hope. By Sunday, the father of eight was back to singing her praises.

“I care about Kate Major,” Gosselin confessed in a statement to E! News. “She resigned from her job for me.”

The real story, according to an insider who spoke with Radar Online, is simply that Gosselin hopes the steer the attention away from his not-so-private life while pursuing both women.

“He is a man going through a divorce and he’s trying to keep his personal life private,” the source said. “He is choosing not to end anything with either woman. He’s dating and he doesn’t want to tie himself down.”

Romo banned Simpson from his home
When Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo dumped Jessica Simpson, he didn’t send the singer any mixed messages. New details of the split reveal Romo broke the romance in such a way as to ensure himself a Simpson-free future.

According to the National Enquirer, rather than a tearful goodbye, the star player gave his ex-girlfriend an unceremonious send off in the parking lot of the nearest International House of Pancakes. A source told the magazine Romo had grown tired of all their arguments and had enough of Simpson’s drama.

“They’d argued a lot over the past several months,” the insider explained. “This time Tony barely said a word. He suddenly pulled into the parking lot of an IHOP and growled, ‘Get out.’ Jess got out and slammed the door. Before she could say anything, Tony peeled off.”

If Simpson entertained any thoughts of reconciliation while she waited for a ride home, her former partner made sure she’d soon know there was one home she should stay away from. A report in Us Weekly revealed Romo instructed security to keep Simpson out of his gated community.

“RED ALERT!!!” the notice read. “TONY ROMO HAS MADE SOME CHANGES TO HIS LIST OF PEOPLE ALLOWED IN ... JESSICA IS NO LONGER ON THE LIST AND NOT APPROVED FOR ACCESS.”

Ouch.

Dish on the fly
That on-again-off-again romance between Lindsay Lohan and her DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson appears to be somewhere between on and off for now. Over the weekend, X17Online caught an emotional Lohan and an unnamed gal pal waiting outside Ronson’s home. Ronson arrived soon after and immediately asked the identity of Lohan’s hanger-on. Confused, the actress cried, “I’m your girlfriend!” Once Ronson ejected the unknown party, she and LiLo bickered their way inside the house. … Tori Spelling’s estranged mom Candy Spelling sent an open letter to TMZ addressed to, “MIDDLE-AGED REALITY SHOW STARS (LIKE MY DAUGHTER).” In the angry missive, the matriarch blamed reality TV for her recent refusal to finally meet her grandchild. “A big party wasn’t how I envisioned meeting my granddaughter for the first time,” she wrote. “But, hey, this is Hollywood, and my grandchildren have become reality show props, too. … I decided my first meeting with my granddaughter should be on home video, not primetime cable; so I e-mailed that I would not be attending.”
