Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross Win for “Social Network” Score

Aussies Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, whose turn in "Rabbit Hole" was up for Best Actress nomination in an unusually strong field, were on hand to present Best Score.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (no relation) won the prize for the magnificent music written for "The Social Network." If someone had told us 20 years ago that the guy behind “Pretty Hate Machine” would win an Oscar for working with the guy who directed the Paula Abdul video “Straight Up,” we’d’ve fallen over laughing—and yet, here we are.

Matthew McConaughey and Scarlett Johansson came out to present the sound awards, with Lora Hirschberg, Gary A. Rizzo and Ed Novick winning Best Sound Mixing for "Inception," and Richard winning Best Sound Editing for the same film.

"I owe this a 1,000 percent to Chris Nolan," said King.

Man that movie sounded good, didn't they?

For those of you scoring at home,"Inception" has now won 3 awards, with "The Fighter" and "The Social Network" each winning two.
