Jim Himes will serve on the Housing and Community Opportunity subcommittee, as well as the Capital Markets, Insurance and Government Sponsored Enterprises subcommittee.

When you're a freshman congressman 18 months into your first term, you might expect people around The Hill would know who you are.  But Rep. Jim Himes found out the hard way Thursday,  that is not always the case.

Himes, a Democrat representing Connecticut's Fourth District, posted on Twitter that a Congressional Page wasn't quite sure who he was on the House floor.

    "

Page on the Floor asked me if I was an intern.  I thought she would then burst into tears, but told her it's best compliment I've gotten," the tweet read.

Rep. Himes, 43, is not even the youngest member of Congress.  That honor goes to Rep. Aaron Schock, 28, a Republican from Illinois.
