Former Pats LB Vrabel Has SB Rings Stolen

Mike Vrabel played for the Pats from 2001-1008

Former Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabal won three Super Bowls and three rings in his eight-year stint in Foxborough before being traded to the Chiefs where he spent the final two years of his playing career.

Now Vrabel, an assistant coach for the Texans, is without those Super Bowl rings. He took to Twitter last week to explain: "To all the Houston area pawn shops: 3 super bowl rings are headed your way. Courtesy of the m----- f------ who smashed our back door in."

Jen Vrabel, Mike's wife, also shared her thoughts on Twitter: "Thanks to the thugs who busted out our back glass door while we were at our sons bball game this am and took @CoachVrabel50 SB RINGS #class."

According to ESPN.com, Bellaire Police Department said the burglary took place around 11 a.m. Saturday.

Vrabel was originally a third-round pick of the Steelers. After four years with Pittsburgh, he played for the Pats from 2001-2008. He won Super Bowls in the 2001, 2003 and 2004 seasons.
