J-E-T-S Fans Hope to Jet to Pro Bowl

We all know fans who go to the extreme.

That extreme for one Connecticut family could get them a free trip to the NFL’s Pro Bowl in Hawaii, the New Haven Register reports.

The Geremia family, of Northford, entered the contest “Take it to the House,” where they had to show how they celebrate watching their favorite NFL team. This family is all about the New York Jets.

The Register reports that Rick Geremia Jr. submitted photos of his father’s “man cave” per se, a room above the family’s two-car garage.

This isn’t just any fan room.  It has more than 3,000 pieces of Jets memorabilia, along with a 35-inch screen TV to watch the games each week. It has jerseys, and just about anything you can image with the Jets logo.

The contest, sponsored by Proctor & Gamble  is on Facebook.

Voting is underway now and runs through Saturday night at midnight.  The Geremias have a one in eight chance of getting the trip. As of Thursday afternoon, they are in first place.
