The Stanley Cup finals start tonight and local Bruins fans will be pulling out their B’s gear and watching the Boston team take on the Chicago Blackhawks.
Since the game starts at 8 p.m. on a Wednesday night, you might be planning to watch the game at home, but several local establishments are showing the game and running specials.
Some of the deals are the regular Wednesday specials, but the Tobacco Shed Café, at 139 Palisado Ave. in Windsor, will offer $1 off any beverage that starts with the letter "B," such as Budweiser, starting at 8 p.m.
Here are some additional specials if you plan to watch the game out tonight:
Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, at 702 Poquonock Ave. in Windsor, will offer Harpoon beer 23-ounce drafts for $5.49 at 8 p.m.
Chicago Sam’s in Cromwell and Enfield offer 50-cent Buffalo wings on Wednesday night. The Cromwell site is at 51-14 Shunpike Road. The Enfield site is at 95 Elm Street in Enfield.
Damon's Tavern, at 310 Prospect Ave., Hartford will offer $4 tall Coors and Miller Lites starting at 8 p.m.
The Half Door, at 270 Sisson Ave. in Hartford, will offer $2 Irish pints all night.
Legends Sports Bar, at 192 Pine St. in Bristol, will have drink specials at 8 p.m. Details were not available on what they are.
Pigs Eye Pub, at 356 Asylum St. in Hartford, will offer 23-ounce $1 beers all night.
Rocking Horse Saloon, at 181 Ann St. in Hartford, will have whiskey special. Try four shots of whiskey for $10 from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The Sports Bar, at 157 Boston Post Road in North Windham, will have drink specials, including $2.50 Budlight bottles, 16-ounce Sky vodka drinks for $ 4.50 and a 20-wing platter for $15 at 8 p.m.
Union Street Tavern, at 20 Union St. in Windsor, will offer $3 drafts at 8 p.m.
