Tina Charles

Tina Charles played for the UConn Huskies from 2006 to 2010, where she won two national championships.

After UConn she was the number one draft pick in 2010 by the Connecticut Sun. She was also named the 2010 Rookie of the Year.

She also set a new WNBA single-season record for rebounds with 398 in 2010. In 2011 she set the WNBA record for double-doubles with 23.

Charles was selected as the WNBA’s Most Valuable Player in 2012. In 2014 she was acquired by the New York Liberty.

This is not her first Olympics. She took home the gold with Team USA at the 2012 Olympics in London.
