So much for resting up this winter. Five UConn football players will take part in upcoming all-star games in January.
Three Huskies will play in the Senior Bowl January 24th in Mobile, Alabama: Defensive end Cody Brown, defensive back Darius Butler and offensive tackle Will Beatty will play for the North squad coached by Cincinnati Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis.
Brown, Butler and Beatty were all killer b's for the Huskies, earning first team All-Big East honors. All three could be NFL draft picks this spring as well.
UConn strong safety Dahna Deleston and defensive end Julius Williams will play in the Texas Vs. The Nation All-Star Game on Saturday, January 31 at the Sun Bowl in El Paso. Texas.
