High Tee — Celebs Hit Links for Charity

Sports stars will be swinging their clubs at Foxwoods

Cromwell is not the only place in Connecticut that celebs are teeing it up this week.

Bruce Jenner is leaving behind the reality TV cameras following his Kardashian-filled life Tuesday to play golf for charity.

He is one of several celebrities you’ll find at Lake of Isles golf course at the Foxwoods Resort Casino for the long-drive competition.

Actor Mark Wahlberg will be enjoying this lovely New England summer day as he hits the links to help others. Wait, it is summer, right?

Jenner’s not the only athlete you’ll see out there. Former NFL stars Lawrence Taylor, Marcus Allen, Eric Dickerson, Jim McMahon and Joe Theismann; and baseball Hall of Famers Jim Rice and Goose Gossage will be in Connecticut too.

They will be teamed with professional long-drive golfers for team competition called "Big Shots: Titans at the Tee."

The professional long drivers will compete for prize money. The celebrities are playing for charity.

Wednesday is celebrity day at Travelers in Cromwell.
