Connecticut's Maya Moore is the Big East's player of the year for the second consecutive season.
The sophomore, who averaged 18.9 points and 9.1 rebounds for the top-ranked Huskies (30-0), is the first back-to-back winner since 2004, when Diana Taurasi won her second award.
Connecticut coach Geno Auriemma and Villanova's Harry Perretta shared the coach of the year honors Friday. Perretta, whose Wildcats were picked to finish 10th in the conference, coached his team to an 18-12 record. The Wildcats were 10-6 in the Big East, good enough for fourth place.
Da'Shena Stevens, who averaged almost 12 points per game for St. John's, is the freshman of the year, and Cincinnati's Jill Stephens, who earned her degree in three years and is enrolled in a doctoral program, is the scholar-athlete of the year.
