Puck Daddy Hockey Rumors Live Chat

(Due to some scheduling switcheroos, we'll publish today's Puck Headlines at 1:30 p.m. There's a video in this edition you may want to see.)

The concept of "blowing up a team" is something that's mentioned when a franchise reaches certain benchmarks of ineffectiveness or roster age. For the Colorado Avalanche, it's a bit of both, leading some to ask whether or not a good chunk of the team should be sent packing.

For the Ottawa Senators, it's clearly time for major changes to be made for an ineffective roster, even if their owner steadfastly refuses to acknowledge the concept of blowing up the team. There are only three UFAs on the Senators' roster -- will anyone else go too? Should the Sens, Avs or anyone else really "blow up" their team?

We'll chat about those teams, Jay Bouwmeester news, some goalie trade rumors, have a laugh about the Brad Richards thing and talk potential coaching changes in our weekly rumors, scuttlebutt and innuendo chat.

Please join our guests Lyle "Spector" Richardson of Fox Sports and David "Dave" Pagnotta of The Fourth Period for all the merriment and analysis. As always, bring the funny as well.
