Puck Headlines: Roenick, Wilson and the nostalgia gap

Here are your Evening Puck Headlines and Previews: A glorious collection of news and views collected from the greatest blogosphere in sports and the few, the proud, the mainstream hockey media.

Preview: Toronto Maple Leafs at San Jose Sharks (10:30 p.m. EST; TV: RSN, CSBA). Jeremy Roenick believes that Ron Wilson's return to San Jose will be "bittersweet" for the ex-Sharks coach. Wilson, uh, disagreed again that this means anything to him: "J.R. might think that, but I don't feel that way at all. That's the god's honest truth ... So it's not like I'm going to cry for three weeks if we don't beat the Sharks."

Preview: Tampa Bay Lightning at Philadelphia Flyers (7 p.m. EST; TV: VS). Radim Vrbata will be a healthy scratch tonight; again, money well-spent. WWGRD? Head to the IR with a pulled groin, apparently.

Preview: Montreal Canadiens at Atlanta Thrashers (7:30 p.m. EST; TV: TSN, RDS) Sergei Kostitsyn, Guillaume Latendresse and Ryan O'Byrne all take a seat for the Montreal Canadiens as the team searches for offense. The Islanders believe O'Bryne generates plenty of offense.

• Ziggy Palffy. Mark Recchi. Ryan Malone. Erik Christensen. Colby Armstrong. Michel Ouellet. Andy Hilbert. Jani Rita. Tomas Surovy. Nils Ekman. Pascal DupuisMax Talbot. Miro Satan. Ruslan Fedotenko. Will someone please get that nice Sidney Crosby a winger that sticks? [The Confluence]

• "Is A Game-Used Hockey Jersey Worth $40K?" It is when it comes from the late, great Golden Seals! [First Cuts]

Preview: Dallas Stars at Calgary Flames (9:30 p.m. EST; TV: KDFI, RSW, Yahoo! Sports). How, exactly, do we know that Sean Avery is talking about his ex-girlfriends when he says NHL players are getting his "sloppy seconds" and not that they're all wearing his suit-short hand-me-downs, huh?

Preview: Florida Panthers at Washington Capitals (7 p.m. EST; TV: None). Craig Anderson is 0-3 lifetime against the Capitals. Washington's defensive lineup tonight is, like, the Hershey Bears plus Morrisonn and Jurcina.

Preview: Los Angeles Kings at Phoenix Coyotes (9:30 p.m. EST; TV: FSW). We didn't include this in the goalie controversy roundup, but it should be noted that Mikael Tellqvist is getting the call tonight against the Kings. Terry Murray is trying to get the Kings to play with more discipline. If he shows up to the game in a dominatrix outfit, we quit.

• Finally, who doesn't like a "Whose Line is it Anyway?" hoe-down about hockey?
