One of things we want to make clear about our No-Foil Stanley Cup Replica Competition is that it shouldn't be daunting.
We've gotten some outstanding entries so far, and many of them are really elaborate. But sometimes it's just creativity we're craving; like this No-Foil Cup plastered to the wall at Mellon Arena during the Stanley Cup Final in Pittsburgh. (Via Seth at Empty Netters.) Simple and brilliant.
We'd like to announce that as an added bonus for the contest, each winner will also receive a copy of "Miracle" on Blu-Ray, which is being released this month on June 16. Again: What we want are 3-D handmade Stanley Cup replicas that stray far away from the usual foil-wrap jobs. They can be previously created for another Cup season or new works of art. Check out the prizes and additional rules in our initial post.
