Video: Detroit fans that dared to crash Penguins viewing party

PITTSBURGH -- What's the technical term for a group of Detroit Red Wings fans that decides to infiltrate a few thousand Pittsburgh Penguins maniacs to watch Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final in front of Mellon Arena?

Brave? Stupid? Misguided? Masochistic?

We're talking about a rabid crowd of Steel City puckheads that arrive at 10 a.m. for an 8 p.m. start, cheer highlights of old games like they're actually happening and manage to contort Marian Hossa's name into several rather creative expletives.

Yet Nicole, and her Jimmy Howard Red Wings jersey, set up a base camp with a few other Detroit loyalists right in the middle of the Mellon Arena viewing party on Thursday night. We wanted to find out why. And we nearly did, before every Penguins fan within a 50-foot radius started chanting "Detroit Sucks."

Thanks to Nicole and her pal. We truly hope you made it out in one piece and -- we're speaking to you, sir -- without having been hit by a fish.
